Curriculum Statement
Our innovative veterinary curriculum includes small and large group learning, lectures, discussion and laboratories. Students work with live animals the first week of classes, pursue interests, and tailor their learning to meet their interests. Goals include critical thinking through problem solving; sound clinical judgment and medical decision-making skills; an understanding of the interactions among animals, people, and the environment; and unparalleled professionalism.
Clinical Rotations and Pathways begin Spring term of the Junior Year (after the Spring White Coat Ceremony). Students have access to baby rotations earlier in the program.
